A video-reflection on the first iteration of the performance BECOMING MY NONBINARY BODY. A 2,5 hour durational slow-motion performance on the everyday transitions a trans*nonbinary body goes through while waiting for medical transition. Using make-up, clothing, tape and posing as the main tools of gender expression. In slowing down the performance opens up space to reflect on ones own understandings of gender and performativity.
